Taskmaster is returning. We don’t know exactly when, but we do know now exactly who will be on it. The line-up for the 19th series is in and it includes an American star, which might go some way to explaining why the series launch was in New York earlier this month. Ruth Jones (pictured below) from Gavin & Stacey, Jon Pointing from Big Boys and Edinburgh Comedy Award winner Amy Gledhill have been cast in the next Harlan Coben thriller, to be made for Netflix.

Following the unexpected death of Tony Slattery a Crowdfunder campaign has been set up to help to pay for his funeral. Over £24,000 has been raised so far, which reflects how much Slattery was loved. You can still donate to the fund here.
